Join a Park Ranger at Shepherdstown Public Library on Wednesday September 25th at 4 PM for a story time featuring Winged Wonders: Solving the Monarch Migration Mystery by Meeg Pincus.

Participants will learn about Monarch butterflies and their incredible annual migration. Ages 5 & up.

The following Sunday, September 29th, Antietam National Battlefield will be hosting a drop-in butterfly tagging event from 11 AM to 1 PM. Participants should meet at the Cornfield parking area, Tour Stop #4. This is a family-friendly drop-in event open to the public, children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Please bring water and wear appropriate footwear.
