Most people don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan. Taking some time to handle necessary tasks and decisions during stable times, not only provides specific direction when needed, but also offers a necessary support system in a time of higher emotional stress. Less decisions to be made and more time to focus on your loved one in need. Home is almost always the preferred Plan A. However, having a Plan B and even maybe Plan C is imperative to avoid having to make difficult decision during a crisis.

During the presentation we will discuss strategies for aging in place and recognizing when living at home is no longer an option. Reviewing the differences between long-term care in a nursing home vs an assisted living, types of assisted living communities and funding senior care options will be included in the conversation.
