Join us for an exploration of different media. This is a relaxed, drop-in program to explore various media and spend time with other teen artists. The library will provide all the materials. Ages 12 - 18

Ms. Jessie will lead our youngest patrons on adventures through songs, rhymes, stories and socializing. Best for pre-schoolers ages 3 – 5.
Sensory-Friendly Library Time: A calm browsing experience for neurodivergent visitors and those with sensory needs. During this dedicated hour, we create a low-stimulus environment with dimmed lighting and reduced noise. All are welcome to join us in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere from 10 AM - to 11 AM.
Join us for a craft program for kids where they can make fun art projects and learn new skills. Best for Ages 5 - 11. Parents are asked to remain in the Children's Department with their participating child.
Through hands-on experiences and creative projects, we aim to inspire the next generation of nature enthusiasts and environmental stewards. A youth chess club where kids & teens can learn, play, and have fun while improving their chess skills in a friendly environment. Ages 6 -18. Parents of children 6 - 10 years should plan to remain in the Children's Dept. while their child participates.
Learn about and practice creative writing & the review process with the guidance of a professional writer, Lee Doty. Participants can bring a short writing sample to share. For ages 13-18. Meets in the Library Commons Room.
