Sensory-Friendly Library Time: A calm browsing experience for neurodivergent visitors and those with sensory needs. During this dedicated hour, we create a low-stimulus environment with dimmed lighting and reduced noise. All are welcome to join us in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere from 10 AM - to 11 AM.

A youth chess club where kids & teens can learn, play, and have fun while improving their chess skills in a friendly environment. Ages 6 -18. Parents of children 6 - 10 years should plan to remain in the Children's Dept. while their child participates.  

Learn about and practice creative writing & the review process with the guidance of a professional writer, Lee Doty. Participants can bring a short writing sample to share. For ages 13-18.   Meets in the Library Commons Room.
